Northern Lights Festival Boreal
The Northern Lights Festival Boreal is one of Canada's oldest music festivals. It was started in 1972. The festival usually takes place in early July at Bell Park. The event is filled with a variety of performances by music artists and other artists of different genres, The event ends with the Jackie Washington Award which is awarded to the the person that has contributed the most to cultural activities in the past year.

Sudbury Downs
Sudbury Downs is a racing track located at 400 Bonnin Road, Chelmsford Ontario. The track holds o race nights every week during the race season. Each race night has about 10-14 horse races. People can come in and place wagers on each race. The building is also a small casino with slot machines. Sudbury Downs also is home to a snack bar, fine dining restaurant, and Deli. The building is just outside of the city.
Rail road museum
Sudbury is home to the Northern Ontario Railroad Museum and Heritage Center. The museum is located at 26 Bloor Street Caperol Ontario. The museum was established in 1993. It serves as a tourist attraction and educates people about Northern Ontario's railroad heritage. The museum is also a non-profit organization.
The museum collects artifacts such as old train engines and preserve and display them. The museum is also is home to many fundraising events to fund the museum. |
